2009 (I think)

This is an ad for Whiskas produced by TBWA in Canada. It’s been running for a while and I was wondering what people think of it?

“No CG or tape-cut. Four days spent.
This is for a newly launched cell phone of NTT Docomo, which is the largets cell phone service provider in Japan. Shell of the new phone is wood and their idea is to use domestic woods that are produced after preservative maintainace for Japanese forest.”

Not sure what I think about this. A brilliant concept and execution, but I found it a little dull and it didn’t sell the product to me. But a great piece of engineering.
